Ingrid Edshteyn, DO, MPH

Ingrid Edshteyn, DO, MPH is a Board-Certified Preventive Medicine physician dedicated to advancing an integrated approach between medicine, wellness and fitness. As the Associate Executive Director of the American College of Lifestyle Medicine (ACLM), the nation’s professional society advocating for and implementing evidence-based Lifestyle Medicine at all levels in the health system, she assists with strategic partnerships and educational content development. Her passion goes back to childhood, when Dr. Ingrid established Cornell University’s Meditation & Yoga Club and served as President of Cornell's Seven Spirits Kung Fu organization. She has been involved with the Lifestyle Medicine movement since medical school, having served on the Executive Board of ACLM during PrevMed residency and completed Columbia University's Executive MPH for a population health perspective, she knows that empowering patients is central to the successful evolution of the wellness paradigm.

Ingrid has been involved with developing Lifestyle Medicine clinical practice models, having co-founded Griffin Hospital's Center for Prevention & Lifestyle Management Wellness for Life program and developed her own clinical practice in NYC, Valia Lifestyle, which unites Lifestyle Medicine with integrative nutrition and fitness for authentic health of body and mind. She envisions the expansion of the movement globally, and looks forward to further involvement with the Lifestyle Medicine Global Alliance and Asian Society of Lifestyle Medicine.
